Houndstooth Crop

The Houndstooth Crop is a modern twist on classic houndstooth woven fabric. The body features a 3-color houndstooth colorwork pattern while the sleeves are worked in a solid color in stockinette stitch. Gauge:
24 sts and 28 rows over 4” / 10 cm in stranded colorwork pattern worked in the round on larger needle, blocked
The solid stockinette sleeves should be worked in smaller needles at the same gauge. I suggest making 2 separate swatches to determine which size needles are needed for the colorwork vs solid stockinette

Needles:
Size 6 (4 mm) 32-40” / 81.5-101.5 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge over colorwork pattern plus 2 additional DPNs for the 3-needle bind off
Size 3 (3.25mm) 2 - 16” / 40.5 cm circular for the collar, 32-40” / 81.5-101.5 cm circular for the hem, and preferred small circumference method for stockinette sleeves.
