Collage Crescent

The Collage Crescent is an artful collage of stitches, techniques and different mediums. The crescent-shaped shawl is composed of a knit body featuring stockinette, purl bump rows, eyelets, and embossed stitches. The edging is worked in a simple crochet pattern. After the shawl is complete, the embroidery chain stitch and French knots are worked on the stockinette sections creating a special embellished design. Knit up in The Fibre Company’s Cumbria Fingering yarn, this shawl is warm, fuzzy, and has a lovely romantic drape!

Materials:
Fibre Co. Cumbria, Fingering Weight Yarn (60% Merino wool, 30% masham wool and 10% mohair)
Color A: Helvellyn (green), 300 yards
Color B: Scafell Pike (grey), 315 yards
Color C: Eden Valley (teal), 315 yards

Gauge:
- 24 sts and 36 rows over 4” in stockinette blocked

Needles:-
Size 3 (3.25) mm 40” Long circular, Size 5 (3.75 mm) needle
Size D (3.25mm) crochet hook
