Nightshades is a sweet pullover featuring a simple colorwork yoke resembling chains of little nightshade flowers. The easy-to-memorize repeatable stitch pattern makes for enjoyable knitting. A great beginner pattern with only 2 colors worked in stranded colorwork, increases worked on solid rows, and no seaming required. Knit up in Brooklyn Tweed’s specialty Ranch 03 yarn, Nightshades is easy to substitute with a variety of sport-weight yarns on the market. The 3/4 length sleeves and light weight fabric makes Nightshades the perfect spring transitional sweater for mixing and matching with your wardrobe!

Gauge:
24 sts and 27 rows over 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked in the round and blocked

Needles:
Size 3 (3.25 mm) 24-40” / 61-101.5 cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, and additional needle of the same size for your preferred method of small circumference knitting (9”/ 23 cm circular, 2-circulars, DPNs or Magic Loop) for the sleeves and cuffs
Suggest sizing up 1 or 2 size needles for colorwork section for even tension
