Say hello to the newest Boho Chic Fiber Co. Knitwear design: meet Windsor!

I love thinking outside of the box when it comes to designing. My first design, the Boho Chic Shawl, was born out of frustration in not being able to find the "right" kind of knit on lace edging that I envisioned. So to solve this problem I decided to crochet on an edging instead. This has become my favorite way to design shawls. I love knitting the body of a shawl, and there is something magical about crochet lace, its just the perfect combination!

Knit up in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter on size 7 needles/ hook this shawl is a quick fun design to work up! Combination makers (knitters and crocheters) will LOVE this pattern! The shawl body is knit with stockinette and open lace sections then bound off. Then you just replace your knitting needles and crochet the quick, simple border and... TA DA, a super unique, cozy shawl!

AND for those knitters who are new to crochet there are links included in the pattern for how to make the crochet stitches. Only single and double crochets make up the design so it is very basic and easy to learn, a perfect project for knitters wanting to expand their skill set!

You can find the pattern for download on my Ravelry page HERE
